Part 2
Content:
This course will teach students how to design an online class.
The types of students:
(Student characteristics) there are 9 students in this course. Students in this course are college freshman and sophomores with good technology skills and each has successfully taken an online course.
This course will be totally online class. In this class we will use instructor website and each students should have blog.. And communication ways will be blog and email.
Types of objectives:
1- Students will learn about creating a online classes.
2- Students will create their tools from different types of technology tools.
3- Students will design effective online classes.
There are three type of interaction for online classes:
1- instructor –learner:
Learning system:
The interaction is between students and Instructor.
The instructor roles:
1- he will make the learning more essayer
2- 2-he will help students if they are having difficulties with the course content.
3- 3- he will communicate with his students by sending Email to them and gives feedback.
Example for instructor-learner:
Blogs:
The instructor read students postings and gives feedback that can help student to understanding the subject.
In my opinion this is the most important interaction. Students in online classes are (dependent learners) they do their work by own self because of that they need the instructor feedback about what they done that can help them to know if they are in right truck or not. Also the students who face problem can communicate with his instructor and get some advice and extra time to make sure he understand the contact and the material.
2- Learner-Content:
Learning system:
The interaction is between the students and the course content.
The instructor roles:
1-he will Design the content.
2- he will develop course in a program.
3-he will support learning.
Example for learner – content:
Websites:
Explain the course content that can students to understanding more about the subject .the instructor can give the Lecture by using video tape, pod cast , and pose it in the website.
The important of this interaction is to teach the material and explain every thing that is needed for the instruction of the online course.
3- Learner-Learner:
Learning system:
In this type there are three ways for interaction:
a) Between one student and another.
b) Between one student and many other students.
c) Between several students as a group.
The instructor roles:
* He will keep the discussions on the right way.
* He will communicate with his students by sending Email to them or gives feedback.
Example for learner – Learner:
Chat:
The students can communicate with each other and discuss different students opinion, and sharing information with each other, that make each student more active. The interaction important to make the students motivate in the class and this interaction also make the student encourage other students who is shy or quite in a face to face.
I will create videos for the students in each lesson and I will post it in syllabus in my website also I will send the link of the videos to the students each week. Skype power point, video, blogs, chat, word text and email are the types of tools that I will use it in this course. Also as an online instructor, I need to keep the students motivated and interested in the course. I will check my email and responds to students' questions within a 24-hour time frame. I never let email go for more than 1 day. I think the students appreciate this quick response and feel more comfortable emailing me as an instructor questions and what they face in this course.

Part 3
Absorb-type activities:
Presentations:
“students learn by watchaing and listening to the presentatuon. Presentation may be experienced live in online meeting or may be played back from a recording. “(Horton,p .49)
on of the presentations types is a podcasts. (Horton,p .51)
I will record my videos and the learner will download them from my website and they can play them by their computer or their devices.
Do-type activities-
Practice activity:
Give learners experience applying information, knowledge, and skills. (Horton,p .105)
In the end of each class in the course the students will apply the knowledge that get it from the class to design part by part of their own online course in the end of the course they will have their own design online course. Each week the students will learn new things and do it in their online course design. Instructor and the students will view each students work every week and the instructor give them feedback on the other hand the students will make comments in their classmate posts that can make the students activity and learn from each other.
Connect-type activities
Original-work activities: (work-document activities)
Each Student will create a document from his work (design) such as his slide presentation that he created. And post it in final exam in his blog.
Your course design sounds pretty good. By sequencing the instruction you can ease students through a complicated set of procedures.
